Fe Sulfate: Currently, ferrous sulfate is commonly used as a plant fe supplement in China. Its bioavailability is low, with plant absorption rates of only 5-10%. Overapplication can cause soil salinization and a very narrow application range, being suitable only for acidic soils with a pH of 7 or below. Above pH 7, it has no effect at all.
Sugar Alcohol Fe: Its effectiveness is second best, with minimal Fe supplementation efficiency.
EDTA-Chelated Fe: It’s inexpensive, but its absorption rate is low in alkaline soils.
EDDHA-Chelated Fe: It has the highest absorption rate and is effective, being absorbed by both acidic and alkaline soils. However, it’s the most expensive.
Due to its unique chelation reaction, EDDHA-Chelated Fe can be used in soils with a pH of 11 or below, achieving 100% absorption by plants. This significantly broadens its application range, requiring only 1-5% of the typical nutrient. Application has no negative impact on the soil and, on the contrary, it binds beneficial components in the soil, reducing erosion, helping to regulate soil pH and prevent soil hardening. It possesses uniquely strong permeability and solubility in water, making it easily absorbed by plants and rapidly providing nutrients to crops. It achieves six key benefits: addressing nutrient deficiencies, increasing yields, improving quality, enhancing stress and disease resistance, and promoting early maturity.
Chemical Name: Sodium Ethylenediamine Di-o-Hydroxyphenyl Ferric Acetate

Applicable Crops:
Suitable for crops susceptible to Fe deficiency, including the following: Fruit trees include sweet orange, sour orange, pomelo, lemon, mandarin, peach, plum, cherry, apple, white pear, sand pear, loquat, persimmon, grape, and apricot; Ornamental plants include gardenia, jasmine, magnolia, camellia, hydrangea, yellow orchid, yellow orchid, Michelia, yellow rose, mountain tree, azalea, chrysanthemum, crabapple, hydrangea, white orchid, plum, and bamboo; Forest trees include Eucalyptus globulus, Eucalyptus globulus, Phoebe nanmu, Cinnamomum camphora, acacia, and kaempferia; Leguminous plants include peanuts, soybeans, broad beans, and mung beans; Food crops include sweet potatoes.
Product Features:
a. Ultra-High Efficacy: EDDHA Fe is the most bioavailable O-O isomer of EDDHA and the top-tier EDDHA chelated Fe product. With exceptionally high bioavailability, its efficacy is dozens of times greater than that of organic Fe (EDTA) and hundreds of times greater than that of inorganic Fe. It is recognized worldwide as the most effective product for treating plant Fe deficiency and yellow leaf disease.
b. Ultra-Strong Stability and Solubility: It exhibits exceptional stability in soils with a pH range of 3-9, making it internationally recognized as the most stable chelated Fe.
c. Excellent Compatibility: It can be used with various pesticides, herbicides, and other products, significantly saving farming time, providing ease of use and long-term storage.
d. Highly safe, with excellent sustained-release properties and a long-lasting effect. Experimental studies have demonstrated that EDDHA chelated Fe fertilizer is non-toxic, harmless, and free of side effects, requiring minimal application, while achieving high efficiency in regreening and increasing yields.
Usage and Dosage:
a. Root irrigation: Dissolve EDDHA Fe in a small amount of water, then add water as needed. Dig a 15-20 cm deep trench around the crown of the fruit tree or along the sides of the plant. Pour the solution evenly into the trench and fill it immediately. Add enough water to ensure even distribution and root penetration.
b. Drip irrigation and flushing: Add regularly to irrigation water and apply with the water. Increase or decrease the frequency of application based on the severity of Fe deficiency. Use 70-100 grams per mu.
c. Foliar spray: Dilute the solution 3000-5000 times with water before application.
d. As a foliar fertilizer, flushing fertilizer, or compound fertilizer: EDDHA chelated Fe is well absorbed in soils with a pH range of 3-12 (the higher the pH, the more pronounced the advantages of EDDHA chelated Fe over EDTA chelated Fe and ferrous sulfate). This product is most effective when the crop is well watered and has adequate basic fertilizer. Because a deficiency in one fertilizer can also lead to deficiencies in other trace fertilizers, the deficient fertilizer should be identified before application. It can be combined with other chelated trace fertilizers, such as zinc, manganese, and magnesium. EDDHA chelated Fe can be stored for long periods at room temperature, but for user convenience, it is recommended to be stored in a dry place and the packaging should be tightly sealed if not fully used.
